Research

My research focuses on evolution by doing research on both living and extinct organisms. The research i conduct has a huge emphasis on amphibians. The overall goal of my research is to understand the emergence of new traits within modern amphibians and how it helped them occupy new environments. I also study the origin of the body plan of frogs and how they have maintained their body plan for more than 200 million years! I also focus on microanatomy, the internal structures of bones to better understand the effects the ecology and locomotion have on organisms bone structures.
